Iverpraz oral horse paste is a single administration dose for the treatment of mixed cestode and nematode or arthropod infestations, due to adult and immature roundworms, lungworms, bots and tapeworms in horses. A single administration contains 200 micrograms of Ivermectin and 1.5 mg of Praziquantel per kg of bodyweight corresponding to 1.07 g of paste per 100 kg bodyweight. To ensure administration of a correct dose, bodyweight should be determined as accurately as possible and the correct syringe division selected, as underdosing might lead to an increased risk of development of resistance to anthelmintic drugs. Before administration, adjust the syringe to the calculated dosage by setting the ring on the plunger. Withdrawal Period Horses: Meat & Offal: 35 days Not permitted for use in horses producing milk for human consumption.

Administer after colostrum feeding, or after milk or milk replacer feeding only, using an appropriate device for oral administration. Do not use on an empty stomach. For treatment of anorexic calves, the product should be administered in half a litre of an electrolyte solution. The animals should receive enough colostrum according to good breeding practice. The dosage is: 100 μg of halofuginone / kg bw, once a day for 7 consecutive days; i.e. 2 ml of Kriptazen / 10 kg bw, once a day for 7 consecutive days. The consecutive treatment should be administered at the same time each day. Once the first calf has been treated, all the forthcoming new-born calves must be systematically treated as long as the risk for diarrhoea due to C. parvum persists.
