For use in bovine mastitis caused by penicillin sensitive organisms. Reconstitution: Reconstitute the suspension using the entire contents of the 10g vial and 30ml vial of diluent provided. Use 10 g vial with 30 ml diluent to provide the correct dose. Shake well after reconstitution. Dosage: The daily dose is 15 mg Penethamate hydriodide per kg bodyweight for 3 consecutive days. This is equivalent to 5.5 ml of the reconstituted suspension per 100kg bodyweight. Shake well before administration. For intramuscular use only. Do not administer intravenously. Active ingredient: Marbofloxacin The recommended dosage is 2 mg/kg/day (1 ml/10 kg) in a single daily injection by subcutaneous or intravenous routes in cattle and by the intramuscular route in pigs. Treatment duration is 3 - 5 days by the intravenous route in cattle,. 3 days by the subcutaneous route in cattle,. and 3 - 5 days by the intramuscular route in pigs. The volume of injection should be limited to 10ml at each site of injection for pigs. In order to reduce the risk of particulate contamination of the product, it is recommended that a draw-off needle be used to reduce the number of times the septum is punctured. Dosage: A single subcutaneous injection of 6.6 mg ceftiofur/kg bodyweight (equivalent to 1 ml of Naxcel per 30 kg bodyweight) administered at the base of the ear. It is recommended to limit injection volumes to a maximum of 30 ml per injection site. Cattle Withdrawal periods - milk: Zero hours. Meat:9 days Withdrawal notes: It is essential that Naxcel is only administered at the base of the ear location in order to comply with the meat withdrawal period. Penicillin is active against some Gram-negative and most Gram-positive bacteria. Neomycin is a broad spectrum antibiotic active against a number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. For the treatment of infectious diseases in horses, sheep, pigs, dogs and cats caused by bacteria sensitive to the combination. The combination shows a broad spectrum of activity. In vitro activity has been demonstrated against all tested isolates of Erysipelas rhusiopathiae, Streptococcus spp. and Actinomyces pyogenes and the majority of tested isolates of Pasteurella, Salmonella, Klebsiella and Staphylococcus spp.

Active ingredient: Florfenicol Cattle: Treatment of respiratory tract infections in clinically diseased cattle due to Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida and Histophilus somni, susceptible to florfenicol. Pigs: Treatment of acute outbreaks of respiratory disease caused by strains of Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida susceptible to florfenicol. Cattle: Intramuscular Injection: 20 mg/kg bodyweight (1 ml/15 kg) to be administered twice 48 hours apart using a 16-gauge needle. Subcutaneous Injection: 40 mg/kg bodyweight (2 ml/15 kg) to be administered once only using a 16-gauge needle. The dose volume given at any one injection site should not exceed 10 ml. The injection should only be given in the neck. Pigs: Intramuscular Injection: 15 mg/kg bodyweight (1 ml per 20 kg) into the neck muscle twice at 48 hour intervals using a 16-gauge needle. The volume administered per injection site should not exceed 3 ml. It is recommended to treat cattle and Pigs in the early stages of disease and to evaluate the response to treatment within 48 hours after the second injection. If clinical signs of respiratory disease persist 48 hours after the last injection, treatment should be changed using another formulation or another antibiotic and continued until clinical signs have resolved. Withdrawal: Pig - meat: 22 days Cattle Meat & Offal by i/m (at 20 mg/kg, twice): 39 days by s/c (at 40 mg/kg), once: 44 days.
