Trusted Maropitant, for the treatment and prevention of vomiting and nausea in dogs and cats Vetemex® is licensed for the treatment of - Dogs: • Vomiting, in combination with other supportive measures • For the prevention of vomiting (except that induced by motion sickness) • For the prevention of perioperative nausea and vomiting • For the improved recovery from general anaesthesia after use of the μ-opiate receptor agonist morphine • For the treatment and prevention of nausea induced by chemotherapy Cats: • For the prevention of vomiting and the reduction of nausea (except that induced by motion sickness) • For the treatment of vomiting, in combination with other supportive measures Product Features and Benefits • Can be given subcutaneously or via intravenous injection • Dose rate - 1ml/10kg bodyweight for up to 5 consecutive days • Contains Benzyl Alcohol • Duration of effect - 24 hours
