Eqvalan Duo

This ready to use ivermectin paste dose is effective against most common worms. Each syringe delivers 120 mg ivermectin, sufficient to treat 600 kg of bodyweight. Each weight marking on the syringe plunger will deliver sufficient paste to treat 100 kg bodyweight. All horses should be included in a regular parasite control program, with particular attention being paid to mares, foals and yearlings. Foals should be treated initially at 6 to 8 weeks of age, and routine treatment repeated as appropriate. Eqvalan Duo is highly effective against gastro-intestinal, cutaneous and pulmonary nematodes and bots of horses. Regular treatment will reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by Strongylus vulgaris. With its broad spectrum, Eqvalan Duo is well suited to be a major product in parasite control program and is well suited to be a major component in a rotational program.

Eraquell contains Ivermectin and is effective against most common worms except tapeworm and encysted small redworms. A dose for Bots is best given after a hard frost has killed the last bot flies ie around Christmas. Dosing needs to be repeated every 8-10 weeks.

Fasinex 240 is highly effective against all stages of F. hepatica from 2-week-old early immature forms to adult fluke. If infected animals are treated before disease has developed, fasciolosis can be prevented.

Withdrawal period for meat and offal: 56 days. Do not administer to animals producing milk intended for human consumption or to dairy cows within 50 days of calving.

• Reduction of diarrhoea due to diagnosed Cryptosporidium parvum. Administration should start within 24 hours after the onset of diarrhoea.
