Oral Preparation

Floxabactin is used in cats for the treatment of upper respiratory tract infections. Floxabactin is used in dogs for the treatment of lower urinary tract infections (associated or not with prostatitis) and upper urinary tract infections caused by Escherichia coli or Proteus mirabilis. And treatment of superficial and deep pyoderma.

For treatment of gastro-intestinal infections caused by Escherichia coli susceptible to paromomycin in pre-ruminant cattle and pigs. Pre-ruminant cattle: administration in milk/milk replacer. Pigs: administration in drinking water. Duration of treatment: 3-5 days. Pre-ruminant cattle 1.25 – 2.5 ml of product/10 kg BW/day Pigs: 1.25 – 2 ml of product/10 kg BW/day

Antibiotic. For the treatment of swine dysentery by oral administration via the drinking water. Active ingredient: Lincomycin

PIGS:For the treatment and prevention of dysentery caused by Brachyspira hyodysenteriae and for the treatment and prevention of porcine proliferative enteropathy (ileitis) caused by Lawsonia intracellularis, and associated enteric pathogens (Escherichia coli). CHICKENS:For the treatment and prevention of chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Escherichia coli, and associated with a low mortality rate. Treatment of infections of the urogenital tract, oral cavity, throat and skin caused by obligate anaerobic bacteria (e.g. Clostridia spp.) susceptible to metronidazole.

Powder for use in drinking water/milk replacer Target species Cattle (calves), pigs (weaned and fattening pigs), chickens (including laying hens), ducks, turkeys (including turkey hens), geese, quail and partridges. For treatment of gastrointestinal infections caused by E. coli susceptible to neomycin. Withdrawal periods Cattle (Calves). Meat and offal: 14 days. Pigs (weaned and fattening pigs) - meat and offal – 3 days Chickens (including laying hens), ducks, turkeys, turkey hen, goose, quail and partridge. Meat and offal: 14 days. Eggs: zero days.
