SolLay Chicken Shed Led Lighting System

The SolLay system uses a powerful solar panel (fixed to wall or roof using the bracket supplied) to generate energy which is stored in the all-weather battery box fitted to the outside of a hen house.
From the battery box a 2.5m cable (can be extended if required) connects to the powerful LED strip which is capable of illuminating 16sqm for up to six hours per 24hr period. The battery box can be attached to the ceiling, or wall, using the fixings provided. The box has an external timer so lighting times can be set for periods during the evening and mornings if required. Full set up instruction and usage tips are included.
Both solar panel and battery box are IP65 (fully weather resistant) and are protected from the effects of ammonia. The kit is supplied fully assembled and all cable and LED connections are “plug and play” for quick DIY installation.
To light a larger hen house, add up to five SolLay Expansion Kits.

SolLay Expansion kit

If more light is needed for a bigger hen house, the Expansion Kit is the solution. Supplied with the same size solar panel and wall bracket as the main SolLay system, the two panels “daisy chain” together using the connection cables, pre-fitted. The two panels double the power input going into the battery box.
Two 2.5m extension cables are supplied along with two LED strips. The cables and LEDs attach to the existing LED strip. Up to five Expansion Kits can be added to one SolLay Hen House Lighting System.

Thermometer Digital Max/Min

The digital max min thermometer is an essential device for monitoring and recording indoor temperatures to ensure that optimum conditions are maintained. The thermometer is appropriate for both personal and commercial use, and is ideal for office, factory, laboratory, home, greenhouse or conservatory.
With a 4000 hour battery life the 1.5 volt AA batteries will only need changing every 5 months.
This room thermometer features an LCD display that simultaneously displays the actual and max/min temperatures. Temperature is measured over the range of -20 to 69.9 °C with a 0.1 °C/°F resolution and an accuracy of ±1 °C.
The thermometer is housed in a durable ABS case measuring 29 x 79 x 187 mm. The instrument incorporates a slot for hanging.
The thermometer is extremely easy to use. To switch the current reading between °C and °F or reset the recorded maximum and minimum temperatures simply press the button on the side of the unit.
