Ectofly Pour-On is used in the treatment and control of ticks, headflies and biting lice in sheep. Ectofly Pour-On is also used to prevent blowfly strike. Ectofly Pour-On also has a short withdrawal period of only 7 days making it the ideal product for lambs going to slaughter. Active Ingredient: Cypermethrin Target Species: Sheep Treats and Controls: Ticks, headflies and biting lice. Can be used to prevent blowfly strike Administration Method: Pour-On Length of Protection: 8 Weeks Withdrawal Time: 7 days for sheep intended for meat and offal. Not recommended for sheep producing milk for human consumption Whether treating for blowfly, lice, ticks or headflies there is a different method and application method for each. For best results the proper application gun should be used. The gun comes complete with all nozzles needed for each application. Blowfly Prevention: Not to be administered to animals under 12.5kg. Should be applied with the fan spray nozzle attached. Ectofly Pour-On should be applied from between the shoulders along the back down to the top of the tail and then from the top of the tail down the rump on each side. Up to 25kg bodyweight - 20 ml 25-40kg bodyweight - 30 ml Over 40kg bodyweight - 40 ml Lice Treatment and Control: 5ml per 20kg bodyweight. Dose not to exceed 20ml. The straight nozzle should be use on the applicator gun. Ectofly Pour-On should be applied from the shoulders to the top of the tail in a pin line. Tick Treatment and Control: 10ml per 20kg bodyweight. Dose not to exceed 40ml. The straight nozzle should be use on the applicator gun. Ectofly Pour-On should be applied from the crown of the head to the top of the tail in a pin line. Headfly Treatment and Control: 5ml per animal irrespective of bodyweight. The T-bar nozzle should be use on the applicator gun. Ectofly Pour-On should be applied to the top of the head between the ears. Care should be taken not to get any in the animals eyes.

A pour on preparation for the control of flies, sarcoptic and chorioptic mange and biting and sucking lice in cattle which lasts up to 8 weeks. Flypor is a ready-to-use solution which should be applied at the rate of 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight up to a maximum of 40 ml. Calves up to 100kg: 10ml 101 - 200kg: 20ml 201 – 300kg: 30ml Over 300kg: 40ml The product should be applied using either the calibrated dispensing chamber incorporated into the applicator bottle, or the flexi-pack with an Elanco Cattle Pour-On Gun. Flies: • Apply approximately one quarter of the calculated dose to the top of the head; the remainder should be poured along the neck and mid-backline. • A single dose is normally sufficient to control flies for up to 8 weeks. • The first treatment should be carried out when the number of flies start to increase. • In cases of heavy infestation, the dose may be repeated at 4 week intervals. Lice: • Apply in the same way as fly dosage. • A single dose is normally sufficient to control all lice. • In certain cases of heavy infestation, the dose may be repeated after 4 weeks. • Sarcoptic and chorioptic mange • The calculated dose should be applied directly to all visibly affected areas; any remaining should be poured along the backline in the normal way. • The dose should be repeated after 4 weeks. There is no need to withhold milk from subsequent milkings.

An emulsifiable concentrate for dip solution with a brown colour and a distinct odour, containing diazinon 60% w/w. A pair of gloves, laminated dispensing kit instruction card and a laminated sheep dipping safety card are supplied with each container. This product must only be dispensed using a re-usable dispensing kit. Withdrawal Period Meat - After you have used this product it is unlawful to slaughter treated sheep for human comsumption in less than 49 days from the last treatment. Records must also be kept. Milk - It is unlawful to use Osmonds Gold FLeece Sheep Dip on animals producing milk for human consumption. Do not let livestock graze on land for 1 month following the spreading of used dip.
