Cowslips are orthopaedic shoes for the treatment of lameness in cattle. Made from highly durable PVC. Fitted to the healthy claw, Cowslips take the weight off the affected claw, thus alleviating pain and accelerating healing. The cows mobility improves, weight is gained and milk yield increases. Cowslips are the only application for the treatment of lameness, providing increased support for the hoof wall.

The Cowslips unique hoof-like design increases the surface area for adhesion ensuring they remain in place for 4-6 weeks before self-shedding. Cowslips XL have an unique roll-over toe and tapered sole to assist walking and balance.

Pack contains 40x left hand shoes, adhesive powder, liquid hardener and mixing spatula.

Shoof Walkease Block have been created as an early intervention hoof claw prosthetic. It is not intended to replace other conventional claw shoes currently on the market. The Shoof Walkease Block is made from flexible EV material, that is soothing for the cow to walk on. The greatest advantage of the walkease is its speed and ease of application. Shoof Walkease Block can be used either way up, so suit both left and right claws. The blocks should stay on from 7-14 days, which is generally long enough for the treated claw to have made a recovery in cases where the trauma was quite mild. After this period the block will have worn away on it's own and so there is no need for handling the animal again to remove the block.
