Finilac®, which contains cabergoline (50 microgram/ml), will give veterinary professionals a new choice when treating false pregnancy in bitches. The liquid, which can be given orally or in food, can also suppress lactation in bitches and queens. Finilac inhibits prolactin secretion by the pituitary gland and therefore inhibits all prolactin dependent processes such as lactation.
