CTC 10% w/w oral powder contains 100 mg Chlortetracycline hydrochloride per g and is indicated as an aid in the treatment of respiratory disease in calves and pigs caused by Pasteurella spp. and micro-organisms sensitive to Chlortetracycline. Chlortetracycline has a broad spectrum of activity, including Gram-positive aerobes, Gram-negative anaerobes and Mycoplasmas. Species: Calves less than 6 months of age and pigs. Dose: 200mg CTC 10% per kg bodyweight in divided daily doses for seven days 20g CTC 10% per 100kg bodyweight in divided daily doses for seven days Administration: (*based on the 1kg size) This dose should be given in divided daily doses for seven days, based on this example: 10g morning and 10g evening. *Scoopful (5g size) Bodyweight (kg) - Calves < 74 5g to be given twice daily - equivalent to 1 scoopful 75 - 124 10g to be given twice daily - equivalent to 2 scoopful 125-174 15g to be given twice daily - equivalent to 3 scoopfuls Bodyweight (kg) - Pigs 50 5g to be given twice daily - equivalent to 1 scoopful 100 10g to be given twice daily - equivalent to 2 scoopful Withdrawal: Meat and Offal: Calves: 35 days Pigs: 6 days

Soludox® 500 mg/g Powder for Use in Drinking Water for Pigs and Chickens Pigs: For the treatment of the clinical signs associated with porcine respiratory disease caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella multocida, and Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae susceptible to doxycycline. Chickens: Where clinical disease is present in the flock, to reduce mortality, morbidity, clinical signs and to reduce lesions due to Pasteurellosis caused by Pasteurella multocida or to reduce morbidity and lesions due to respiratory infections caused by Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT). Active ingredient: Doxycycline Hyclate Pig - meat: 4 days Chicken meat: 3 days, following a dose rate of 10 mg/kg body weight for 4 days; 9 days, following a dose rate of 20 mg/kg body weight for 4 days. Eggs: Not authorised for use in birds producing eggs for human consumption. Do not use within 4 weeks of onset of laying.
