Dectospot is licensed as a topical application for the control of lice and flies on cattle; for ticks, lice, keds and established blowfly strike on sheep and for lice and ticks on lambs. The active ingredient in Dectospot is deltamethrin, which is one of the most reliable and safest to use insecticides in the world. Active Ingredient: Deltamethrin Target Species: Sheep and cattle Treats and Controls: Lice, Flies on cattle. Ticks, keds and blowfly in sheep Administration Method: Pour on Withdrawal Time: 17 days for cattle intended for meat or offal, zero hours for cattle producing milk for human consumption, 35 days for sheep intended for meat or offal, not permitted for use on sheep producing milk for human consumption. Dosage for cattle: 10 ml per animal. = 1lt pack will do 100 animals, 2.5lt will do 250 animals Dosage for sheep above 10kg: 5 ml per animal. = 1lt pack will do 200 animals, 2.5lt will do 500 animals. Dosage for lambs under 10kg: 2.5 ml per animal. = 1lt pack will do 400 animals, 2.5lt pack will do 1000 animals.

Ectoflits is used for the protection and treatment of blowfly strike, keds, lice, ticks, and scab infestations in sheep. It has 35 day withdrawal period for meat production. It is not suitable for Sheep producing Milk for human consumption. It should be mixed at 3 litres to 1000 gallons. Choose a cool dry day and dip early in the morning. Rams and fat sheep should be assisted through the bath and lambs dipped separately from the ewes. It is important to ensure that sheep do not swallow or inhale any wash. As this is an organophosphorus sheep dip, an interval of at least 14 days should be observed between dipping and dosing with any drench etc., containing levamisole or an organophosphorus mixture.
