Bimectin is indicated for the treatment of nematode or arthropod infestations in horses due to: • Large strongyles • Small Strongyles • Lungworms (adult and immatures) • Pinworms (adult and immatures) • Ascarids (adults and third & fourth stage larvae) • Hairworms (adults) • Large-mouth stomach worms (adults) • Neck threadworms (microfilariae) • Intestinal threadworms (adults) • Stomach bots (oral and gastric stages) • Ivermectin is not effective against the encysted larval stages of the small strongyles Active ingredient: Ivermectin

For active immunisation of maternally derived antibody positive or negative calves from 9 days of age against BRSV and PI3V, to reduce the mean titre and duration of excretion of both viruses.

Onset of immunity: 5 days for BRSV and 10 days for PI3V after a single vaccination.

Duration of protective immunity: 12 weeks following a single dose. The duration of protective immunity against the PI3V fraction may be reduced in MDA positive calves vaccinated before 3 weeks of age.

Dosage & Administration
A single dose of 2ml of reconstituted vaccine should be given intranasally using the intranasal applicators provided to cattle from the age of 9 days. It is recommended to change applicators between animals to avoid transmitting infectious organisms.

For the treatment of infections caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to the trimethoprim-sulfadiazine combination.

Cattle and pigs:
The recommended dose rate is 2.5 mg trimethoprim/12.5 mg sulfadiazine per kilogram body weight (1 ml product per 16 kg body weight) by intramuscular or slow intravenous injection, once daily until 2 days after symptoms resolve up to a maximum of 5 days. The maximum intramuscular volume of injection per injection site is 5 ml for pigs and 15 ml in cattle.

Withdrawals:
Cattle: Meat and offal: 12 days, Milk: 48 hours
Pigs: Meat and offal: 20 days

Strong Iodine Solution 10% is a general disinfectant that helps fight bacteria and germs. Bacterial spores are killed within 15 minutes of use. Can also be used to treat animal wounds.
